Joan A. Lambert

Joan A. Lambert of Preston, Maryland, passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was 80 years old.

Born July 4, 1943, in Baltimore MD, Joan was the daughter of the late Albert G. Steinberg and J. Wesley Scott Steinberg. Joan was known as “Mom/Ma” by many and touched the hearts of all that knew her. She was fond of recalling her life. Most often of her childhood spent between the Accomack County, VA area and Oxford, MD.

Joan is survived by two sons: Robert Lambert, and John Lambert; daughter, Leslie Granger; daughter-in-law, Regina Collins; five grandchildren: J.T. Lambert, Kyle Lambert, Patrick Granger, Hunter Granger, and Alexandra O’Conner; and great-grandson, Carson Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Halley A. Lambert and her beloved Yorkie, Chloe Bella.
