Joseph Ovide Cherbonnier
Obituary
Joseph Ovide Cherbonnier of Cordova, Maryland passed on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the UM Shore Medical Center in Easton. He was 97 years old.
Born January 13, 1926, at home in Royal Oak, MD, he was the son of the late Lawrence Savery Cherbonnier and Helena Kemp Cherbonnier. Joseph was a proud veteran of the US Army Air Corp. He worked faithfully as a rural mail carrier for the United State Post Office.
Mr. Cherbonnier is survived by his wife, Ann Cherbonnier; four children: Joseph “Jay” Cherbonnier, Vivian Cummings, Danny Dyott, and Glenn Dyott; eight grandchildren: Trey, Ryan, Seth, Lexi, Tina, Bobby, Jason, and Damian; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by eight siblings, and one grandson, Phillip Cherbonnier.
A graveside service will be held at the Spring Hill Cemetery located 123 North St. Easton, MD on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11 AM.
