Joshua Alan Davis

     Joshua Alan Davis of Denton, MD, passed away unexpectedly and sudden at his home from a heart attack. He was 42 years old.

     Born in The Republic of The Philippines on September 24, 1981, Mr. Davis was the son of Ruth Hill Withers and his stepfather, Mitch Withers of Hartly, DE. He has a high school diploma and three years of college towards a business degree. He was the owner/operator of Red Diamond Transportation, Inc and Jade Logistics, Inc., both in Hartly, DE.

     Joshua was a loving son, husband and father, in addition to his mother and stepfather, Joshua is survived by the love of his life, Latoya Hollis of Chestertown, MD; two daughters, Jasmier Davis of Hartly DE and TyJae Hollis of Chestertown MD; five sons: Dequan Johnson, Tajon Tingle, Jorian Davis, Jace Davis, and Jai Davis, all of Chestertown MD; and his grandmother, Marlene Hill and Uncle, Wesley Hill of Denton, MD.

     Joshua was passionate about trucking he could talk about trucking all day and night. He loved being on the road, traveling. He took his boys on the road with him during the summer and they loved it. His three youngest sons want to be just like their daddy and be a truck driver. Whenever anybody saw Joshua, they saw his boys. People would say, "here comes Joshua and his boys". They were always together whenever he was off the road. Joshua had a wonderful sense of humor and very smart. He loved a good debate. He will be greatly missed by his friend and trucker buddy, Maurice Elliott. If you knew Joshua you know how very special he was, He always left you with a smile and a good memory. He is loved dearly by many and will be missed terribly.
