Julia Butler Barry of Denton, MD, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was 71 years old.
Born in Easton, MD, Mrs. Barry was the daughter of the late James R. Butler and Julia Emily Cole Butler. She was a graduate of Delaware Technical Community College. Mrs. Barry was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked in Home Health Care for many years. She also loved quilting and liked to travel and had an adventurous spirit.
Mrs. Barry is survived by three sons: Michael Patrick Faulkner (Cindy) of Henderson, MD, George Edmund Vincent (Crystal) of Harrington, DE, and James Patrick “J.P.” Barry of Denton; two daughters: Deanna Fleetwood, and Kimberly Goodwin; a sister, Sally B. Leager of Sudlersville, MD; three brothers: Sheldon Frank Butler of Harrington, Michael C. Butler of Greensboro, MD, and Brandon C. Butler of Ridgely, MD; and tengrandchildren: Christopher Michael Faulkner, Katie Lynne Faulkner, Alison R. Vincent, Brook F. Larrimore, Makenzi Fleetwood, Jessica Fleetwood, Taylor Fleetwood, John T. Fleetwood, Lance Cawley, and Jennifer Tomar; and eight great grandchildren: Mason, Skyler, Riley, Aiden, Jet, Remi, Lily, and Aiden. She is preceded in death by a brother, James R. Butler, Jr.
