Kenneth "Sonny" Morcombe, II

Kenneth Morcombe, II, (Sonny) of Preston, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Caroline Nursing and Rehab in Denton, MD. He was 86 years old.

Born on March 16, 1939, in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Kenneth Morcombe Sr. Sonny served in the Army until 1965 then worked as a welder for The Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Sonny enjoyed hunting, fishing/crabbing, camping with family and taking rides to look for deer with his dog, Gracie.

Kenneth (Sonny) was proceeded in death by his father Kenneth Morcombe Sr. and his youngest daughter Jan Morcombe.  He is survived by his wife, Theresa Morcombe; three daughters: Sherry Durm (John), Denise Fitzgerald (Tom), and Andrea Charney (Mike); 9 grandchildren, Brittany Eslin (Matt), Larry Osman (Danielle), KW Osman (Rachel), Tyler Fitzgerald (Elizabeth), Mayson Fitzgerald, Jazmine & Shaylee Fitzpatrick and Colton Charney; along with 14 great-grandchildren, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11AM, in Lakemont Memorial Gardens 900 W. Central Ave. Davidsonville, MD 21035.
