Kimberley Blair Obituary

Kimberley Sue (Williams) Blair, age 66, of Easton, MD passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at her home following a short illness. She was the first daughter of her adoring parents, John Elmer Williams and Dona Jean Christensen Williams.

She was born on June 2, 1956 in Dayton, OH.  She married her husband, Donald D. Blair of Easton, MD on January 1, 1981. The light of Kim’s life was their son, Dayton Blair and his fiancée, Ashley Tallmadge of Troy, MT, and grandchildren Jaxson and Anna.

Kim was a wonderful big sister to Jeri Barcroft, Dottie (Mitch) Ray and Jona (Joel) Perrin, all of Illinois. Kim found joy in her travels and in creating art. She was known for her love of cooking and spending time in her kitchen creating masterpieces for her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Christian Williams.

Kim attended Warren School in Monmouth, IL and was a 1974 graduate of North Caroline High School in Ridgely, MD.  One of her fondest memories was traveling with the Palette and Art Club to Europe during her senior year.

Kim was a dedicated mom and homemaker. She was a staunch former member of the Democratic Women's Society, and a former appointed member of the Talbot County School Board of Education. Kim could be found on many committees. Kim always wanted to make positive changes. Her motto was, “One person is a nut, two is a friend but three is power!”

Kim loved her friends and family and especially loved telling stories about adventures with her cousins growing up.  A special thank you to Kim’s faithful friends Rocky, Winnie, Susan, Molly, Tim, John, Tyra, and Tony. Kim wanted to remind people to always plant love, grow kindness and reap joy in life.

There are no current plans for a memorial service.  If friends wish to donate to a charity in memory of Kim, the family suggests donating to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, Inc., 686 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
