L. Dean Weathers

     L. Dean Weathers of Bridgeville, DE passed away at his home on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was 84 years old.

     Born in Sedalia, Missouri Dean was the son of the late Ramie Weathers and Mary Mergen Weathers. Mr. Weathers was a self-employed full-line fastener wholesaler, running and loving Bowie Bolt & Supply Company. He loved his work so much that it was his favorite hobby, but don’t tell that to his pet cows and bull.

     Mr. Weather’s is survived by his wife, Donna Weathers of Bridgeville, DE; three children: Michele Rudisill (Michael) of Bridgeville, Tammie Lucero (Jacob) of TX, and Kelli Weathers of NC; four stepchildren: Robert Gezelle of NC, Laura Biggers of MD, Joseph Gezelle of MD and Jaime Strickland of MD. Dean was preceded in death by two sons: Christopher D. Weathers and Randy D. Weathers.

     A funeral service will be held 11AM on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM before the service.

     The interment will be in the Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 8401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD 20722.
