Larry Raymond Myers of Denton, MD, passed away while working in Dalton, GA. He was 57 years old.
Born in Washington, D.C. on November 29, 1962, Mr. Myers was the son of Robert Lee Myers and Mary Ann Tipton Myers, both of Denton. He was a 1981 graduate of North Caroline High School near Ridgely, MD. Mr. Myers loved life and loved all animals. He spent his high school years on the Eastern Shore, but had been in Missouri and Montana for many years before moving back to Denton 30 months ago. He loved working on old cars and his vintage Camaro. He was a woodworker and builder in his shop and loved to cook. He was a man who loved being outside and working on the farm. Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Darcy L. Myers of Denton; four children including a daughter, Susan Brooks of Deer Lodge, MT; two grandsons, Shaun Ray Villa (Marissa) and Timothy Lawson Villa, both of Butte, MT; a brother, Edward Lee Myers of Tennessee; two nephews, Eddie Myers, Jr. and Austin Myers; a niece, Ashley Abbott; his parents-in-laws, William L Trueman and Charlene Trueman; and his brother-in-law’s: Chris Corder (Liesel Corder) and their children, George Corder and Charie Corder, and Bob Cocchiaro (Annie) and their daughter, Madison Cocchiaro.
The memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending donations to Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. 2nd Street, Denton, MD 21629 to help defray funeral expenses.
