Obituary

     Lawrence (Larry) K. Hill, III of Ridgely, MD left this world on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 47 years old.

     Born in Easton December 23, 1974, Larry was the son of Dorothy J. Tarr Hill and the late Lawrence K. Hill, Jr. He was a 1992 Philadelphia High School graduate, and a proud Class A CDL driver, with the CB handle Joker, that summed up his personality perfectly. Larry drove just about everything with wheels, and his hobbies surrounded all things automotive. He followed NASCAR, built model cars, and shared this love with his son Ryan on a daily basis. He loved vacationing with his family in the Outer Banks and fishing any time he could. He believed in family first and his most cherished memories were of the time, and laughter he shared with them.

     Larry is survived by his loving wife, Nichole L. Hill of Ridgely; two daughters, Jessica Hill and Jon Willey of Cambridge, and Lauren Hill of Ridgely; and son, Ryan Hill of Ridgely. He was a father figure/ shenanigans instigator, to his loving nieces and nephews: Russell Holly of Annapolis, John Hill of Salisbury, Caroline and Vaughn Bustamante of VA Beach, VA, Ashley and Chris Christman of Delmar, Aaron Wildt of Laurel, MD, Angela Blunt and Chris Testerman of Kent Island, Patrick Wildt of Townson, Robert Blunt of Centreville, Katie and Noah David of Salisbury, Eric Blunt of Centreville, Nathaniel Sobolesky of Ridgely, Dean Sobolesky of Ridgely, Trevor Sobolesky of NH, and Luke Sobolesky of NH; grandson, Grayson Testerman; he had two sisters, Lyn and Curt Holly of Greensboro and Brenda and Ron Meredith of Salisbury; beloved family friends, Chrissy and Mike Roose & Mike and Cassandra Saker. siblings-in-law, Wesley Sobolesky and Allison of Ridgely, Tim and Audrey Sobolesky of New Hampshire, Amy Sobolesky of Stevensville, and Alex Sobolesky of Stevensville; parents-in-law, Frank and Randi Sobolesky of Stevensville. Mr. Hill was predeceased by beloved family friend Cameron Gray.

     There will be a memorial service held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD. Friends are invited to visit with the family before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
