Lewis Henry Adams of Denton, MD, peacefully passed away at his home on Friday, May 6, 2022. He was 90 years old.
Born at home in Harmony, MD, Mr. Adams was the son of the late John Adams and Lottie Stafford. He was a graduate of Lockerman High School in Denton. He had retired from Choptank Electric as their Senior Custodian in 2013 after 43 years of service.
Mr. Adams is survived by two sons, Tyrone Adams of Lakeside, CA and Lewis Adams (Portia) of San Diego, CA; a granddaughter, Tiffany Smith (Darrius) of Baltimore, MD; and two great grandsons, Quentin Sterrette of Baltimore and Robert Newton of Baltimore. In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams is preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Smith; four brothers: Leonard Adams, Edward Adams, Howard Adams, and Harvey Adams; and six sisters: Mary Toliver Adams, Alice West, Alverta Adams, Louise Adams, Katherine Nichols, and Lucy Adams.
A viewing/visitation will be 5 to 7 on Friday evening, May 20th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. 2nd Street in Denton. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday, May 21st, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 100 S. Fifth Ave. in Denton where friends may call one hour prior.
