Linda S. Whaley

     Linda S. Whaley of Millsboro, DE, passed away at the Bay Health Hospital, Sussex Campus, in Milford, DE. She was 67 years old.

     Born in Lewes, DE, Ms. Whaley was the daughter of the late William Kim Whaley and Dorothy Mae Hitch Whaley. She was a 1972 graduate of Sussex Central High School.

     Affectionately known as “Hootie” to her family, Ms. Whaley had been a Paralegal for the Law offices of Paul Enterline in Georgetown, DE since 2003. She liked to sew and travel to Lancaster, PA. She was interested in crafts with a special affinity for gnomes, owls, and witches.

     Ms. Whaley is survived by a daughter, Julie L. Bailey of Millsboro, DE; two sons: Trevor Reid (Kizzie Blockston) of Hickman, DE, and Joseph Cody Greene (James Greene) of Felton, DE; two grandchildren: Micayla P. Bailey of Midlothian, VA, and Payten M. Sellers (Daniel Sellers) of Laurel, DE; and two brothers, Brian Whaley (Janet) of Laurel and Kim Whaley of Seaford, DE. Two brothers, Jerry Hill and Joe Hill predeceased her.

     Memorial services will be private.
