Lisa Moore Yoash of Centreville, MD, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. She was 61 years old.
Born in Easton, MD on December 22, 1962, Lisa was the daughter of Barbara Lynch Moore of Centreville, MD, and the late W. Franklin Moore. She was a 1980 graduate of Queen Anne’s County High School in Centreville.
Lisa had recently retired as a Program Management Specialist with the Wye Research and Education Center Wye Angus Program in Queenstown, MD after a forty-year career. She had lived on the same Dairy Farm all her life and had been active in the Clover Leaf 4-H Club and was also a club leader. In addition to being a 4-H All Star & also a member of QACHS FFA. A graduate of Chesapeake College, she was active playing sports and loved crafts, sewing, people, and the beach.
In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband, Matthew D. Yoash of Centreville; a son, Benjamin M. Yoash (Kate) of Stevensville, MD; a daughter, Natalie A. Yoash (Eric Kessler) of Reisterstown, MD; a brother, Jeff Moore (Cindy) of Cordova; two grandchildren, Remy and Camden Yoash; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing/visitation from 6 until 8 on Monday, May 27th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 28th, at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church located at 303 Chesterfield Ave. in Centreville, MD 21617. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Hillsboro, MD.
