Marian Lee Mowbray

     Marian Lee Mowbray, 94, of Murrysville, PA, went with God on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

     Marian was born in Easton, MD, the daughter of Tom and Louise Suitt. She often spoke of growing up in Easton and how much she loved her parents and grandparents, James and Lena Haddock. For the last twenty years of her life Marian lived in Murrysville, PA with her daughter, Martha Harmon, and her son-in-law, Carl Harmon, of Murrysville, PA.

     Marian lived most of her life in Denton, MD where she raised five children with her late husband, Leroy Mowbray, Sr., who preceded her in death. Marian’s children loved her dearly: Martha and her husband Carl of Murrysville, PA, and Leroy, Jr. and his wife Chrystal, Tom and Joe of MD, and Gary of VA.

     Marian has five grandchildren: Kenny, Tara, Shannon, Lyla, and Scotty who preceded Marian in death. She also has 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. They will all miss her dearly. Other than her family, Marian’s greatest loves were the many friends she made over the years as well as her flower garden and going to Bingo with her daughter Martha. If you were lucky enough to meet Marian, you would love her. Marian was a very loving, caring, and gentle woman.

     A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 3rd, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may visit from 10 until 11 before the service. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
