Mary Ann Riggin

Mary Ann Riggin of Denton, MD, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Denton Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was 70 years old.

     Born in Sharptown, MD, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Riggin and Florence Mary Murphy Riggin Whisler and her stepfather, Arthur King Whisler.  She was a 1970 graduate of North Caroline High School and had been a Caretaker in Home Health. 

     Mary Ann is survived by a son, Francis Lee Cohee of Denton, and a daughter, Florence Sparks of Federalsburg, MD; three sisters: Donna Davis of Denton, Emma Jean Riggin of Denton, and Pearl Eaton (Howard) of Ridgely, MD; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by two sisters: Nancy Dixon and Florence Darling; and an infant daughter, Angela.
   

 A graveside service will be held at 11 AM in Denton Cemetery on Wednesday, January 4th.
