Matthew Joseph Bach

     Matthew Joseph Bach passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at his home in Denton, MD. He was 89 years old.

     Born in Atlas, PA on May 25, 1934, Mr. Bach was the son of the late Jacob Aloysius Bach and Edna Moleski Bach. He was a US Air Force veteran. He had retired from the Quaker Chemical Corp. in Philadelphia, PA and moved to the mid-shore area 26 years ago. He and his wife, Denise Christine Bach of Denton, attended St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church in Denton.

     In addition to his wife, Mr. Bach is survived by three nephews: Joe Bach, Jake Bach, and Jerome Bach. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Francis Bach and John Bach.

     A 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 4th, at the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church on First Street in Denton. The committal service will follow at 12 Noon in the MD Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock, MD.
