Michael Wayne Gray of Federalsburg, Maryland, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, May 26, 2025. He was 66 years old.
Born January 22, 1959, on the Chanute Air Force Base in Illinois, he was the son of the late Raymond Carroll Gray and Peggy Joyce Towers Gray. Michael was an autobody technician; and put in many faithful years at Wayside Body in Denton, Danny’s in Federalsburg, and Start 2 Finish in Harrington before retiring in 2024. He was a member of the Chesapeake Car Club and the Denton Jaycees. Michael adored his pets: Bailey, Zeb, Penney, Ellie Mae, Autumn and Charlie. He liked to travel to Lancaster and Gatlinburg. He loved to go to antique stores and made sure he touched everything in the store, so he didn’t miss anything. Above all, Michael loved his family.
Michael is survived by his wife, Tina M. Gray; son, Justin M. Gray; sister, Carol Conrad (Roland); two brothers: Ronald Gray (Patti), and David Gray (Brenda); and sister-in-law, Terry Sarver Gray. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a son, Cameron J. Gray, and a brother, Donald L. Gray, Sr.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 11 to 12 at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton. The funeral service will follow at 12Noon. The burial will be at Concord Cemetery 7112 Dion Rd. Federalsburg, MD.
