It is with great sadness that the family of Michael F. Keating, Jr. of Easton, MD, announce his passing on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. He was 56 years old.
Born in Washington, D.C., Michael was the son of Sandra Anne Murphy Keating of Denton, MD and the late Michael Francis Keating, Sr. He was a 1982 graduate of North Caroline High School and a college graduate of Notre Dame of Maryland University. He was a UPS retiree and coached youth basketball in Talbot County. Family and friends will fondly remember Michael as a caring person and will miss him dearly.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Keating is survived by his son, Jordan Keating (Eva) of Brooklyn, NY; his brothers, Tony Keating (Pam) their son Joseph from Denton, MD; Tom Keating (Jackie) their children Olivia, Emma and Owen also from Denton, MD; and his sister, Kathryn Hudson (Rob) their children JD, Logan, Emily and Cale of Millsboro, DE.
Friends may visit with the family for a memorial visitation at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton from 11 to 11:45 AM on Saturday, January 30th immediately followed by a 12 Noon memorial Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church on First Street in Denton. The interment will be private.
