Michele M. Chaffinch

Michele M. Chaffinch, formerly of Laurel, DE, passed away at home from Pancreatic cancer on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  She was 49 years old.
     Born on November 23, 1973, Michele was the daughter of Robert W. and Diane S. Matthews, both of Hurlock.  She was a 1992 graduate of Colonel Richardson High School.  
     Michele had been a bookkeeper for businesses in lower Delaware.  She had an interest in crafts, but her main love in life was being a Mom and going to her children’s sporting events and activities.  
     In addition to her parents, Michele is survived by a daughter, Tayler Chaffinch (Don) of Bridgeville, DE; a son, Trever Chaffinch (Kelsey) of Laurel, DE; a sister, Melissa Towers (Tim); a niece, Morgan Towers; and a nephew, Trent Towers. 
     Memorial services will be private for the family.
