Norma Jean MacDonald of Greensboro, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at home. She was 79 years old.
Born on November 25, 1944, Mrs. MacDonald was the cherished only child of the late Olin M. Griffith and Ruth E. Webber Griffith. She was a 1962 graduate of North Caroline High School in Ridgely.
Mrs. MacDonald was predominantly a homemaker but served as the church organist for Christ Episcopal Church for over 45 years, a vocation that gave her great joy. Ultimately, she was happiest spending time with her late husband, children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter, all of whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. MacDonald’s husband, Marvin, predeceased her in June, 2023, and she is survived by two daughters, Colleen Harrison (Kenny) of Concord, NH and Kim Brogley (Kevin) of Greensboro, MD; a son, Marvin MacDonald, Jr. (Bobbi Jo) of Winter Garden, FL; three grandchildren: Joshua Harrison (Holly), Lauren Brogley, and Brooke MacDonald; and a great-granddaughter, Eloise Harrison.
