Norris Russell Sullivan

     Norris R. Sullivan of West Denton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. He was 76 years old.

     Born at home in West Denton, Mr. Sullivan was the son of Norris Sullivan and Katie Katherine Hill Sullivan. He was a handyman and had lived in the Denton area all of his life. Mr. Sullivan is survived by two sons, Norris Hopkins (Sarah) and Joe Hopkins, both of Frederick, MD; a daughter, Tammy Morales of Arcadia, FL, and a step daughter, Jennifer Rowles of Denton; four sisters: Terry Boyd of Denton, Katherine Valentine of Trinity, TX, Nancy Russ of Harbeson, DE, and Georgia McNeal of Rosedale, MD; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and his long-time caregiver, Shannon Dixon.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Sullivan; a son, Riley “Billy” Travers; and a sister, Ruth Ann Sullivan. A memorial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial donations to the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street, Denton, MD 21629 to help with funeral expenses.
