Patricia "Teresa" Cohey

     Patricia “Teresa” H. Cohey of Ridgely, MD, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the Peake Nursing Home in Denton, MD. She was 69 years old.

     Born in Easton, MD, Mrs. Cohey was the daughter of the late Gustave Rampmeyer and Marie Hickman Rampmeyer. Her husband, George A. Cohey, died on December 31, 2018. Mrs. Cohey had lived in Ridgely for many years, working at a variety of occupations. She had also been an EMT and a member of the Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department.

     Mrs. Cohey is survived by her daughter, Melissa Casper (Bo Casper) of Ridgely; her son, Dale “D.J.” Cohey of Ridgely; a granddaughter, Brittney Casper of Ridgely; a sister, Brenda Anthony of Ridgely; three brothers: Larry “Slick” Rampmeyer and Gustave Rampmeyer, Jr., both of Ridgely, and Bruce Rampmeyer of Denton; and many nieces, nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Sandra Eckerd and Susan “Gunny” Kurtz; and a brother, Gene Rampmeyer. Mrs Cohey loved her fur babies, Tucker, Kenzie, and Killer (who is in doggie heaven).

     Memorial services will be private and a Celebration of Life date is to be determined. If friends wish to send memorial donations in Mrs. Cohey’s memory, the family suggests sending them to Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street, Denton, MD 21629 to help with funeral expenses.
