Patricia A. Scott

     Patricia A. Scott of Ridgely, MD, died Monday, March 29, 2021, at the Intergrace Bayleigh Chase in Easton, MD. She was 89 years old.

     Born in Miami, FL, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late _Duncan McPhail and Jessie May Shaughnessy McPhail. Her husband, Arthur W. Scott, Jr., died September 25, 2018. She was well-known for her foster care work, and more importantly the care and love of her family.

     Mrs. Scott is survived by her four sons: Mark Whewell of Arizona, Rick Whewell of Appleton, WI, Tommy Whewell of Greensboro, MD, and Patrick Whewell of Tilghman; a sister, Beverly Whewell of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren: Heather Whewell of Ridgely and Joshua Whewell of Easton; two great grandchildren: Paige Eden Pritchett and Aiden Scott Whewell; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Whewell.

     Funeral services will be held at 9:45 AM on Thursday, April 1st, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, MD where friends may visit with the family from 9 to 9:45 before the service. The interment will follow at 11 AM in the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock
