Paul Franklin Smith, Jr.

     Paul Franklin Smith, Jr., “Paulie”, of Preston, MD, passed away from Renal Failure at the UofMD Shore Medical Center at Easton, MD on Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was 60 years old.

     Born in Baltimore, MD in 1960, Paulie was the son of the late Paul Franklin Smith, Sr. and Betty Jane Dean Smith. He had graduated from the Marley Glen Special School in Glen Burnie, MD. He moved with his family to Caroline County in 1999.

     Paulie is survived by his sister, Laura L. Burget (Dale) of Preston, and four nephews: Sean Burget, Jason Smith, Curtis Andrew, Jr., and Jordan Smith. He is predeceased by two brothers, Curtis Andrew, Sr. and John Allen Smith, Sr.; and a nephew, John Allen, Jr.

     A memorial service will be held at a future date. If friends wish to send memorial donations in Paulie’s memory, the family suggests sending them to the Caroline Center, 12061 School Street, Ridgely, MD 21660.
