Ramon (R.J.) Luis Caraballo, Jr. of Preston, MD, passed away on November 6, 2024, at Shock Trauma, University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, the result of an automobile accident. He was 26 years old.
Born in Easton, MD on September 26, 1998, R.J. was the son of his father, Ramon Luis Caraballo of Denton, MD; his mother, Laura Ann Reaver of Preston; and his stepmother, Margaret Ann Caraballo of Denton. He attended both Colonel Richarson High School in Federalsburg, MD and North Caroline High School in Ridgely, MD, graduating in 2016 from Colonel Richardson High School.
R.J. was a self-employed carpenter and worked with Tim Foor of Denton. He had previously worked for Veil Construction. He liked gaming and rapping, but he loved playing golf with his friends, brothers, and father.
In addition to his father, mother, and stepmother, he is survived by seven brothers: David Arthur Caraballo (Rebecca) of Hainesport, NJ, Alan Ramon Caraballo (Nicole) of Centreville, MD, Derek Luis Caraballo (Pam) of Denton, Kevin Caraballo (Meredith) of Denton, Kyle Caraballo of Betterton, MD, William Reaver of Chestertown, MD, and Dakota Glaeser of Preston; and one sister, Rachael Lynn Caraballo (Brent) of Easton.
R.J. was a kind, loving, and funny guy. He was always able to have fun, no matter what he was doing. The world needed his light, but now he is gone. He will be sorely missed.
A funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday, November 12 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 5 until 6 before the service. The interment will be private.
