Raymond Johnson Obituary

     Raymond M. Johnson of Preston MD passed away December 7th 2020. Born on April 18th 1950, and raised in Madison NJ, he is the son of late Clinton Melville Johnson and Lucille Beatrice Crumn, beloved brother to Ruth Koehler and Carol Lang.

     Ray was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a Master Carpenter, owner and operator of J&J Builders. He was very meticulous in his work; he loved what he did and loved to pass his knowledge onto others. He loved to go fishing and to take his grandkids crabbing. Rays favorite hobby was his cars.

     Ray is survived by his adoring children, daughter Caryn & Justin Fortunato of Harmony NJ, son Douglas Johnson of Bridgeville DE, his loving grandchildren Anthony, Kayla & Trinity, his former spouse and friend Christine Johnson, his companion Brenda Bedea, his nieces and nephews, Laura, Matt, Cheryl, Eric, Wendy, Donnie, Tee and many many friends who became family throughout the years.

     A walk thru memorial visitation will be held Saturday Jan 16th from 1pm to 3pm at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton, MD. The memorial service will be private.

     In lieu of flowers, Ray would prefer donations made in his honor to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
