Richard Freck Obituary

Richard P. Freck of North Port, FL, passed away at his home on Monday, July 12, 2021.  He was 74 years old.
 
     Born in Wilmington, DE, Mr. Freck was the son of the late William Freck and Vera Dagg. His wife, Diane Freck, passed away August 19, 2009.
 
     Richard was also a Veteran as he served for the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Eagle Riders of Nokomis, Florida.  He loved riding his Harley Trike and hanging out at the Eagles.  He also enjoyed being on the water.  He was employed with Playtex in Dover, DE for 39 years and also with Harrington Slots for a short bit before relocating to North Port, FL.
 
     Mr. Freck is survived by two children: his daughter Teresa Robinson and her partner Shawn Raney from Florida, and one son, Richard W. E. Freck and his wife Nicole Freck from Florida, along with his girlfriend Carol Miller and her family from Florida.  Mr. Freck has 2 grandchildren, Heather Ebling and her husband Adam Ebling and Erika Robinson; and two great grandchildren, Nolan Ebling and Hudson Ebling.
 
     A Memorial Celebration will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Saturday, August 21st, at the Denton Church of the Nazarene, located at 10660 Greensboro Rd. in Denton, MD.  An Honor Guard presentation of the flag and Taps will be at 12 noon followed by a brief service.
