Robert Harvey Bridge, Sr.

Robert Harvey Bridge, Sr. of Easton, Maryland, passed suddenly on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He was 76 years old.

Born on December 11, 1948, in Preston, MD, he was the son of the late Henry Harvey Bridge and Neva Mae Harrison Bridge.

Bobby worked at Cole’s Service Center as a teenager. He was drafted into the Army on May 2, 1968. He served deployment in Seoul, Korea where he was a Crew Chief in Aviation.

 Upon his discharge and return in 1969, he began his lifelong career of upholstery work at Britt’s Upholstery until 1984 when he began Bridge Upholstery. He was well known for precise craftsmanship of furniture, vehicle and boat upholstery over the last 50+ years.

He was a past member of Cordova Fire Department and past President of Homerun Baker and Chapel District Sports.

Bobby loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert is survived by three children: Natalie Bridge, Robert Bridge, Jr. (Carieann), and Joseph Bridge, Sr. (Kristine); beloved dog, Abby; eleven grandchildren: Justin Wright, Austin Myers, Robert Bridge, III, Tiffany Baker, Dylan Bridge, Joseph Bridge, Jr., Lexus Bridge, Brittany Wickline, Christopher Lagasse, Alyssa Imel, and Maliah Pruitt; sixteen great-grandchildren; two brothers: Douglas Bridge (Lynn), and Whitie Wilder (Joy). In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his much loved and adored wife, Agnes Marie Bridge; daughter, Constance Lagasse; two brothers: Gordon Bridge, and Donald Bridge.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629. The funeral service will begin at 11AM. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery 11243 Chapel Rd. Cordova, MD 21625.
