Robert Isaac Frazier of Denton, MD, passed away at the Resorts at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD. He was 92 years old.
Born in the coal mining town of Nemacolin, PA, on November 29, 1933, Mr. Frazier was the son of the late Isaac Frazier and Thelma Nedrow Frazier. His wife, Delores Winifred “Winnie” Frazier, passed away on April 16, 2023.
Mr. Frazier graduated in 1951 from the Cumberland Township, PA, High School and from Waynesburg University in 1955. He became a principal in Prince Georges County, MD, public schools, retiring in 1986 after 30 years. After retiring, he moved to Denton and worked for Cambridge, MD Head Start. Later, he worked with his three Norwich Terriers (Higgins, Eliza, and Freddy) and competed in dog agility, while also maintaining a keen interest in animal welfare.
Mr. Frazier is survived by two daughters, Tracy Frazier of Alexandria, VA and Lisa Applebee of Fayetteville, PA; and a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Alexa Applebee and Erik Dutcher of Martinsburg, WV. In addition to his beloved wife, he is preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Belle Frazier Bruce.
Memorial services will be private for the family only. If friends wish to make a memorial donation in memory of Mr. Frazier, the family suggests sending it to the Caroline Humane Society, 407 W. Belle St., Ridgely, MD 21660.
