Robert "Robbie" Wilkerson

     Robert “Robbie” A. Wilkerson of Greensboro, MD, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 53 years old.

     Born in Cheverly, MD on October 16, 1969, Robbie was the son of the late Hugh William and Nancy Lee Selby Wilkerson. He was a 1987 graduate of Southern High School in Harwood, MD.

     Rob had started working as a Correctional Officer in Caroline County in 2007. After five years, he transferred to Anne Arundel County for seven years, then Kent County for two years, and had returned home to Caroline County for the past year and a half. Since 2003, he had also owned and operated his own pest control/extermination business, En.Garde, Inc.

     Rob is survived by his wife, Kelly D. Wilkerson of Greensboro; a daughter, Alexandra G. Wilkerson, and a son, Joshua M. Wilkerson, both of Greensboro; five sisters: Debra Jackson of Mt. Vernon, MD, Pamela Spicknall of Lothian, MD, Bonnie Turley (Steve) of Greensboro, MD, Sandra Wilkerson of Crofton, MD, and Mary Wilkerson, also of Crofton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two infant brothers, William E. Wilkerson, and Michael A. Wilkerson.

     An 11 AM memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street in Denton, MD where friends may visit with the family from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday evening and one hour before the service on Friday. The interment will be private.
