Ronald Knotts Todd

     Ronald Knotts Todd, Sr. of Harmony, MD, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was 84 years old.

     Born in Caroline County on March 2, 1939, Mr. Todd was the son of the late Maurice Linwood Todd and Maude Iva Marine Todd Mann Farinholt. He was a 1957 graduate of Preston School in Preston, MD, and a college graduate of Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, and the Maryland Banking School of College Park, MD.

     Mr. Todd worked for the Denton National Bank in Denton, MD, the First National Bank in Millsboro, DE, and the Bank of the Eastern Shore in Cambridge, MD, from which he retired in the early 1990s. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, bowling, and attending auctions.

     Mr. Todd is survived by five children: Ronald K. Todd, Jr., of Ridgely, MD; John W. Todd and his wife, Donna, of Denton, MD; Maurice Linwood Todd of Key West, FL; Donald R. Todd of Ridgely, MD; and Lawrence A. Todd of Nashville, TN; and four grandchildren: Candace Aquino, Allison Todd, Joshua Todd, and Colby Todd. He was preceded in death by a brother, Maurice Ray Todd.

     Visitation for family and close friends will be held on Sunday, June 4, from 1-3 pm at the Wharves of Choptank Visitor and Heritage Center located at 3 Crouse Park Lane in Denton, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Preston Volunteer Fire Company in Preston, MD.
