Ronnie O’Neil Newcomb of Hurlock, Maryland passed away after a brave battle with cancer at his home on Wednesday, December 11,2024. He was 69 years old.
Born in Cambridge, MD on December 16, 1954, he was the son of the late James Carlton Newcomb, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Mills Newcomb. Mr. Newcomb worked for Waste Management for many years. He loved all things nature, especially hunting, fishing, and crabbing. He also enjoyed bowling and flea markets. Ronnie’s guilty pleasure was the Lifetime Movie Network. Above all things, he loved his family and cared for them faithfully.
Ronnie is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Elzey (David Jr.), and Kelly Long; seven grandchildren: Brianna, Colin, Mikayla, Alyssa, Rebecca, Samantha, Savannah; six great-grandchildren: Blake, Makenzie, Waylen, Braxton, Addison, and Nova, with two more on the way; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gail Price Newcomb; son, Michael Foreman; two brothers: Gary Newcomb, and James Newcomb, Jr.; three sisters: Kathy Wingate, Brenda Reid, and Bonnie Rockwell; and his canine best friend, Reggie.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 11-12 at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629. The funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park on Rt. 50 in Easton, MD.
