Samantha Thomason Sewell

     Samantha Thomason Sewell of Preston, MD, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the UofM Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD. She was 42 years old.

    She was born in Easton, MD on February 28,1981 and was the daughter of Ronald James Thomason of Denton, MD, and the late Susan Marie Schultz Thomason. Samantha’s childhood was full of aunts, uncles, and cousins that showed her the true meaning of Family.

     She will be remembered for her crazy and beautiful soul. She was strong, loving, stubborn and understanding, as well as a wonderful mother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. If you ever had the honor to be loved by her, you felt all this and so much more. She found devotion and peace in caring for cats and worked diligently to rescue them whenever possible.

     Samantha is survived by her husband, J. Kristopher Sewell of Preston. She found a love and happiness with him that the world would be envious of. She is also survived by her two beloved daughters; “BFF Ride-or-Die,” Karma Jean and her “Sweet Baby Girl,” Khloe Jane, both of Preston, MD; a sister, Jennifer Thomason Stump (Justin) Lilianna, Carl & Katelynn of Seaford, DE, whom were all adored by their “Aunt Mimi.” She is also survived by her very special niece, Brittany Mills, and her family; Aunt Debbie Cahall, who meant more than words can express, as well as many other precious aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

     Samantha is preceded in death by a sister, Trisha Lynn Thomason, Grandparents Robert, and MaryJane Schultz; Clarence and Jean Blackburn all of Denton, MD.

     In typical Samantha fashion, she's thrown us for a loop. A celebration of Samantha’s life will be announced at a later time.
