Sharon Blackwell Obituary

     Sharon Lee Blackwell of Greensboro, MD, passed away peacefully at the Caroline Nursing Home in Denton, MD on Monday, February 24, 2020. She was 61 years old.

     Born in Easton, MD, Mrs. Blackwell was the daughter of the late Wesley Frederick Stafford and Elizabeth Ann Wright Stafford. Her husband, Charles “Chucky” Blackwell died August 20, 2019.

     Mrs. Blackwell had lived in Caroline County all of her life. She had worked at Boater’s World in Denton until their closure. However, her most important work in life was being a devoted wife and mother.

     Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her sons, Sean Blackwell and William Hoskins; three grandchildren: Jamira Foster, Syncere Turner, and Zion Blackwell; two brothers: Ronald Stafford of Hillsboro, MD and Dale Stafford of Preston, MD; and a nephew, Larry Stafford of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Blackwell on March 4, 2015 and a grandson, Deonte Turner.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at future day and time. If friends wish to send memorial donations, the family suggests sending them to the Compass Regional Hospice,  160 Coursevall Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
