Sharon Lee Satterfield

     Sharon Lee Satterfield peacefully passed away, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the home of her daughter and Son in law, whom she resided with for the last 2 1/2 years. She was 73 years old.    

     Born on January 5th, 1949, in Easton, Md. Mrs. Satterfield was the daughter of the late Grace Carroll Dean. Her husband, Carlton S. Satterfield, passed away in April of 2011. Mrs. Satterfield attended Caroline County Public Schools. She had been a waitress at Dover Downs in Dover, De for many years and had lived in South Carolina from 2007 until 2019. On August 14, 2011, Sharon gave her life to Christ and was baptized at the Faith Riders Fellowship Church in Aiken, SC. She also attended White Pond Baptist Church in Williston SC and fell in love with her Church Family. After moving to Maryland in 2019 she attended The Cambridge Wesleyan Church. Sharon had a love for reading. She read daily. Love Inspired Books, (Amish related) were among her favorites as well as the Holy Bible and Devotionals. She loved Nasar (#48 Jimmie Johnson), Elvis Presley, Country Music, Dancing, Flea Markets, Bingo and Dogs. 

     Mrs. Satterfield is survived by her daughter, Dawn Michelle Bradshaw (Ricky, Sr.) of Seaford, De, her son, Anthony Leo Blann Jr. of Dover, DE and son, John Michael Blann of North Carolina, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and her special Grand Dog, Baby. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Dean and Kenneth Dean, Sr. one sister, Ruth Hamby and her black lab, Destiny.
