Sheree Leyn Laisure of Federalsburg, Maryland died suddenly on Wednesday, June7, 2023, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore at the age of 62.
Mrs. Laisure was born December 7, 1960, in Annapolis, MD. Sheree was an out spoken down to earth loving mother, wife, Nanna, great-Nanna, sister, and friend to many. She loved her animals Boo berry, Binki, Jake, and Garfield as they were her own children. She liked to read and had a green thumb that was enjoyed by her peace lillies. She also enjoyed time with family and friends. The date outings with her husband and visiting zoos, were especially important to her. Sheree was a strong believer in Jehovah.
Sheree is survived by her husband, James G. Laisure; two daughters: Tracee Burgess (George Burgess), and Jolene White (Brian Gillespie); four grandchildren: Xzavier Judy, Storm Judy (Josh Gillespie), Albert Laisure, and Riley Laisure; great-granddaughter, Lillith Judy, and one great-grandbean, Amir Lamont Clay Gillespie on the way. She is also survived by her ex-husband and best friend, Marlin White(Sonny) and Janice White; her sister, Kimberly Banister; niece, Krystal Willson; friends and family in heart, Kathy and Bernie Sears, and Theresa Miller. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rose; for whom she cared deeply.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 11AM-12PM, at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD 21629; the funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment is private.
