Sherry La Verne Hooper of Denton, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was 65 years old.
Born on March 10, 1960, in Silver City, NM, she was the daughter of the late Millard Reed Shoopman and Naomia Fay Wells Shoopman.
She lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family.
An avid traveler, she embraced every opportunity to see the world. Throughout her life, she lived in several states across the U.S. and spent time in Europe, where she lived in Germany and traveled to many neighboring countries.
