Sherry Lee Mitchell

     Sherry Lee Mitchell of Goldsboro, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Talbot Hospice in Easton, MD. She was 62 years old.

     Born in Texas, Ms. Mitchell was the daughter of the late Robert Charles Gordon and Mary Etta Tjaden Gorden. She is survived by three sons: Brandon S. Mitchell (Heather) of Denton, MD, Jeremy G. Mitchell of Denton, and Cory A. Mitchell of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren: Hunter Bryan, Kendall Mitchell, Danika Mitchell, Carter Mitchell, Trenton Mitchell, Elaina Krueger, Kenna Mitchel, and Kobe Mitchell; and her boyfriend, Matt Luckett.

     She was preceded in death by a son, Cody E. Mitchell. A memorial service will be private. If friends wish to send a memorial donation in memory of Sherry, the family suggests sending it to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21660.
