Stafford L. Hall Obituary

     Stafford L. Hall of Denton, MD, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 70 years old.

     Born in Hyattsville MD, Mr. Hall was the son of the late Phillip Anthony Hall and Hazel Lucinda Hall. His wife, Edna Marie Hall, to whom he was married for 45 amazing years, passed away March 25, 2022.

     Mr. Hall was a 1972 graduate of Atholton High School in Simpsonville, MD. He and his family moved to Caroline County in the early 1980’s. In 2016, he retired as a foreman from The Whalen Co. with over forty years of service. He was a classic car enthusiast with a special interest in his 1969 Chevelle along with his friends Larry Berties (Sally) and their son Frankie. A terrific husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, his family was the most important part of his life.

     Mr. Hall is survived by four daughters: April L. Chaney and her husband Michael of Denton, Brenda L. Roop of Preston, Linda M. Esteban of Easton, and Alice L. Libick of Denton; a sister, Diane Holbrook and her husband Edwin of Baltimore; seven grandchildren: Megan C. Jackson and her husband Jeremy, Kaitlyn L. Chaney, Matthew C. Chaney, Nicholas L. Roop, Nichole M. Farr and her husband Cody, Joselyn C. Roop, and Christopher J. St. Aubin; and three great grandchildren: Harper L. Chaney, Paisley M. Jackson, and Dawson R. Jackson; and also a beloved neighbor who had touched his heart, Kevin Capozzole. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

     A visitation will be held from 1 until when services start at 2 PM on Monday, October 7th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton. The interment will be private.
