Susan Sterling Obituary

Susan Carol Sterling of Seaford, DE, passed away at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford on Thursday, September 23, 2021. She was 76 years old.

Born in Easton, MD, Mrs. Sterling was the daughter of the late Henry Alfred Spies, Jr. and Edith Marie Miller Spies. She was a 1963 graduate of Easton High School and was the owner and operator of the Sue Sterling Hair Studio in Easton. She loved boating, shopping, and she loved her customers.

Mrs. Sterling is survived by her husband, C. Joseph Sterling of Seaford; a son, Karl J. Sterling (Valarie) of Federalsburg, MD; a brother, Henry Spies III (Rosemary); and three granddaughters: Abigail, Hanna, and Karyn.
