Thomas Jones Obituary

Thomas L. Jones of Denton, MD passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford DE. He was 58 years old.

Born in Limestone, ME, Mr. Jones was the son of Phyllis Ann Jones of Lynchburg, VA and the late Thomas Leroy Jones, Sr. As a young person he moved to the Eastern Shore and attended and graduated from Col. Richardson High School. He was a mechanic at Preston Ford and a maintenance worker for several different businesses in the mid-shore area.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Amanda Puckett and her husband, David, of Harrington, DE; two grandchildren, Harley Puckett and David Puckett Jr.; and two brothers, Dana Jones of Dover DE, and Michael Jones of Lynchburg VA. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching the Ravens games and NASCAR races. He also enjoyed Playing Earth and Beyond online and watching murder mystery shows. More than anything he loved to talk to anyone that was in his company.
