Born in Montgomery County, MD on October 15, 1941, Mrs. Varner is the daughter of the late George Henry “Hank” Klenke and June Lillian Olsen Klenke. She was an architect and designed homes and swimming pools.
Mrs. Varner is survived by one daughter, Theresa (Teri) C. Hafferman of Denton; and two sons, Andrew G. Varner (Andrea) of Falls Church, VA, and Russell W. Varner; and their father, Gilbert Andrew Varner of Denton; 11 grandchildren; and was preceded in death by a grandchild.
