Warren Lee Holden

     Warren L. Holden of E. New Market, MD, formerly of Ridgely, MD, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019, at the U of MD Shore Medical Center @ Dorchester (Dorchester General Hospital) in Cambridge, MD. He was 67 years old.

     Born in Easton, MD on April 8, 1952, Mr. Holden was the son of Frances Holden of Ridgely and the late Kennard E. Holden. He was a 1970 graduate of North Caroline High School in Ridgely and had been a property caretaker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching wildlife.

     In addition to his mother, Mr. Holden is survived by three sisters: Carolyn H. Causey of Ridgely, Marilyn Brown (Jim) of Parsonsburg, MD, and Lisa A. Korell (Mark) of Ridgely; a brother, E. Wayne Holden (Debra) of Mifflinburg, PA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Mr. Holden is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Clara Harrison, his paternal grandparents, Kennard and Mary Holden, and his brother-in-law, Allen Causey.

     A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 26th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may visit with the family from 10 until 11 before the service. The inurnment will be in the Green Mount Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Hillsboro, MD.
