Wayne Lee Gore of Hurlock, Maryland passed unexpectantly on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, Delaware. He was 47 years old.
Born on October 13, 1975, in Annapolis, MD, Wayne was the son of Steven L. Gore and Diana M. Friday Hartwick. Wayne was a very hardworking man. He spent several years roofing, towing, and in the last few years he started to DJ and sell crabs. His whole life Wayne always had different companies, different jobs, a different environment to keep his life interesting and fun. Wayne loved going out on the water, his favorite thing to do was go out early morning crabbing. He also enjoyed cars and as time passed always wanted to have more and more. Wayne liked mudding and going to watch tractor pulls whenever he had the chance. Another thing he started doing recently that brought him joy was traveling and had been to several states. Wayne loved his tan work boots and blue cut up jeans, his favorite line was “It’s never too hot for cut jeans and work boots.”
Wayne loved his children deeply and enjoyed sharing his hobbies with them. His brightest moments were when all three kids were together, having the biggest smile on their faces seeing who could catch the biggest crab. Wayne was loyal and no matter whatever was happening he would always help anyone who needed help and care for his kids and family whether it was on good terms or not. He will never be forgotten, and his memories will never die!
Wayne is survived by his three children: Kayla Gore, Wayne Gore, Jr., and Autumn Gore; father, Steven L. Gore; mother, Diana M. Hartwick; stepfather, Michael D. Hartwick; three stepchildren: Tyler Humphries, Storme Coleman, and Stefannie Bowman; seven siblings: Steven Gore, Jr. (Debbie), Amy Cyr (Eddie), Kimberly Bush (Dennis), Darcie Sisler (Joe), Michael Hartwick, Jr. (Megan), Genna Gore, and Julia Gore; numerous and varied extended family and friends.
