Willard (Dick) Thomas Frampton Joppa, MD — Willard Thomas Frampton, age 80, formerly of Denton passed away after a short illness at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Saturday December 7, 2019. He was born November 21, 1939, in Easton, to the late Carl Reese Frampton and Ruth Muncey Frampton.
Mr. Frampton graduated from Caroline High School, Denton in 1958.He also graduated from The Maryland Institute of Art, Baltimore. He was very active and proud of his sobriety for 31 years with Alcoholics Anonymous conducting meetings in his locale. Mr. Frampton retired from Port City Press after 24 years. He owned and operated Frampton’s Cleaning Service in Joppa until his death.
Mr. Frampton is survived by his partner of 43 years George Wonson, two sisters, Lea F. (Robert) Wheatman of Denton, Patricia F. (Richard) Sipple of Selbyville, DE, and two brothers, Larry Frampton, and Ronald Frampton, both of Easton. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carole F. Sherwood and Marge F. Stafford; a niece, Sherri L. Wheatman, and a nephew, Dale Stafford Jr.

Father Walter Burgess will conduct a memorial service at The Church of the Resurrection, Copley Parish, Gunpowder Parish, Bridge and Anchor Drives, Joppatowne, MD 21085, Sunday February 9, 2020, at 11:30 AM. A reception will follow the burial in the church cemetery.
