William C. Griffin “Bill” of Goldsboro, MD, passed away at his home on October 7, 2022. He was 64 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD on August 22, 1958, Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Lonnie Elmer Griffin and Charlotte Mae Mason Griffin. His wife of thirty years, Sharon Lynn Griffin, passed away on January 28, 2015.
He and his wife had shared three boys: C. Joseph Griffin of Denton, Lonnie E. Griffin of Goldsboro, and Steven Dosh (Kelly) of Denton. He loved spending time with his two grandchildren: Rosalie C. Griffin and Skylar W. Griffin. Bill is also survived by two sisters: Susan Griffin of Pasadena and Linda Barnes of Glen Burnie; and two brothers: Steven Griffin of Glen Burnie and Michael Griffin of Cumberland, MD. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Griffin.
Mr. Griffin and his family had moved to Goldsboro in 1999 from Pasadena, MD. He was a diesel mechanic by trade, he believed in hard work and supporting his family. Bill enjoyed fishing, car shows, working on hotrods, flipping cars and boats, and wheeling and dealing to make a dollar. He was the original life of the party, always joking and making everybody laugh. But his true passion was spending time with his grandchildren and seeing them smile!
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
