William (Bill) A. Meise, Jr., formerly of Denton, MD, died suddenly at his home in Greensboro, MD on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was 67 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Bill was the son of the late William Arthur Meise, Sr. and Gertrude L. “Gertie” Green. He was a 1975 graduate of North Caroline High School. Bill was married to the love of his life, Viola Schuyler Meise, for 44 years until she passed in 2021.
Bill worked for Mulholland-Harper in Denton for many years before working in Maintenance at Colonel Richardson High School. He was a great Orioles and Ravens fan. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. He also enjoyed playing corn hole.
Bill is survived by his beloved cat, Buddy; a cousin, Lynne Gulrich (Kevin) of Henderson, MD; a niece, Denise Blunt (Tab) and their daughters, Skylar and Sawyer of Goldsboro, MD; a nephew, Kyle Gulrich and his daughter Dylan of Goldsboro, MD; a brother-in-law, Billy Schuyler (Sharon) of Wallace, NC; an aunt, Karin Wall and family of Greensboro, MD; great friends, Ann and Randy Moreland of Preston, MD, and many other friends and family members that loved him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 27th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 11 to 12 before the service. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
