William Edward Neal

     William E. Neal (Buddy or Billy) of Greensboro, MD, formerly of Denton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the Memorial Hospital in Easton, MD. He was 72 years old.    

     Born in Easton, Mr. Neal was the son of the late Edward W. Neal and Ethel Virginia Hill Neal. He was a 1967 graduate of North Caroline High School. He was a member of the Delaware Society of Sons of the American Revolution, the First Families of Delmarva, and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

     Mr. Neal is survived by two daughters, Laura Creighton (Chuck) of Cambridge, MD and Angela Fleetwood of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters and a brother: Judy Morris (Jimmy) of Seaford, DE, Joan Cunningham (Bobby) of Indiana, and Johnny Neal (Anna) of Bridgeville, DE; six grandchildren: Heather Mansfield, Justin Griep, Brandi Griep, Johnathon Wooters, Sarah Hackett, and Chayla Creighton; and three great grandchildren: Maddox, McKenna, and Ashton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

     A funeral service will be private for the family only. Instead of flowers, if friends want to send memorial donations, the family has requested that they be sent to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW), 1 Lincoln Circle at Reservoir Park, Suite 240 (Nat.
