William Arthur “Bill” Sadlier, 85 of Denton, Maryland passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on January 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by love and the promise of eternal rest.
A devoted Army veteran, Bill, served his country for two years, training at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama before being stationed in Korea, where he worked on Sergeant Guided Missiles. Following his honorable service, Bill dedicated the remainder of his working life to sharing the gospel through Christian radio, a calling he embraced with unwavering passion and joy. He began his ministry at a station in New Jersey and later founded and faithfully served at a Christian radio station in Annapolis, Maryland, touching countless lives with messages of hope, truth and salvation until his retirement at age 70. His life’s ministry was this sacred work, using the airwaves to proclaim Christ’s love and draw others closer to the Lord.
Bill was deeply cherished by all who knew him for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor and profound love for the Lord.
He was blessed to share 58 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Susan, his faithful companion and partner in life and faith.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; his mother, Mildred; and his sister, Barbara.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his two sons, Timothy and David; daughter, Tirzah; and his eleven cherished grandchildren: Will, Paden; Erica, Grady, Liam, Jenna; Chandler, Elias, Ella, Sebastian and Silas; who were a great source of pride and joy.
Though we grieve his absence here on earth, we rejoice that Bill has now entered into eternal joy of his savior, hearing the words, “well done, good and faithful servant.” He has been called home to be with the Lord he served so faithfully, where there are no more tears, no more pain, and everlasting peace in the presence of Jesus Christ.
A funeral service 10:45AM will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. 2nd St. Denton. Burial will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. There will not be a viewing hour at the request of the family.
