William A. “Tommy” Thomason of Denton, MD, passed away at the University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore, MD surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old.
Born in Dover, DE in 1955, Tommy was the son of the late Edward Lee Thomason and Jean Green Blackburn and stepson of the late Clarence Lee Blackburn. In 1987, he started the Tommy Thomason Painting Company and never really retired. He liked to work, hunt, cut grass, and spend time at the beach. A great husband, father and grandfather, he dearly loved his family.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Thomason of Denton; his son, Allan and his wife Katie; his grandchildren: Kennedy, Ali, Will, Wes, and Parker; a brother, Ronald Thomason of Harmony, MD; and a sister, Debra J. Rhinehardt and her husband Mike of Marydel, DE. He was predeceased by a brother, Clarence “Buddy” Blackburn, Jr.; and a sister, Tami Daufienbach.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 25th, in the Denton Cemetery. Please send memorial donations in Tommy’s memory to the Caroline County Humane Society, 407 W. Belle Rd, Ridgely, MD 21660.
