William "Billy" Dore Joiner

     William Dore Joiner (Billy) of Lewes, DE, passed away on June 14, 2024. He was 48 years old.

     Born in Salisbury, MD, on April 23, 1976, Billy was the son of Wayne Joiner (Donna) of Dover, DE, and Ruth Dore Story (Wayne) of Harrington, DE. He was an award-winning chef and had worked at various restaurants during his career. Billy was passionate about music and developed a unique method for guitar instruction. He loved to sing and play his bass guitar with his friends. He enjoyed nature, especially riding his bike to the beach. Billy was a loving and spirited son and brother who had a deep sense of humor. He loved to make his family laugh. You knew when he entered a room--he lit it up with his larger-than-life personality and infectious laugh. He was very warm and affectionate and will be extremely missed by his loving family.

     In addition to his mother and father, Billy is survived by his loving girlfriend, Sabina Abramowicz, two sisters, Kathy J. Chambers (Carl) of Bedford, VA, and Karen D. Joiner of Harrington, DE; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Services will be private.
